A Haiku poem uses a specific number of syllables for each line.
Title
Line 1 – 5 syllables
Line 2 – 7 syllables
Line 3 – 5 syllables
Remember to count the number of syllables in the entire line! If your line has too many syllables or not enough syllables, delete, add, or substitute words.
Examples:
Birds Birds are so talented Singing a song sweetly Always in tune |

Birds – Revised Birds are talented Singing a song so sweetly Never out of tune |
